Blake Zegarelli

Blake Zegarelli is a financial professional driven by faith, integrity, persistence, and curiosity. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Blake finished in the top 15% of his class, earning Honors Fellow and University Honors distinctions, and graduating Cum Laude with a BBA in Sales. He later earned a Masters of Science in Finance, specializing in Corporate Banking after doing consulting work in the American defense and aerospace industry. These projects included the implementation of cost-cutting measures, risk management audits, and creating a strategic roadmap for the U.S.'s launch of a new off-terrain vehicle.
Blake also holds Series 7 & 66 licenses and is proficient in CRM systems, financial analytics, credit underwriting, and both traditional & alternative investment sales. In joining the team at UWC-PEG, he brings formal credit underwriting training from Bank of America (BOA), and a broad range of experiences from working for large institutional firms serving clients to being on the ground floor helping build out small PE shops. He specializes in tax-advantaged strategies, bonds, Delaware Statutory Trusts (DSTs), and alternative investments, helping UHNWI, family offices, RIAs, financial advisors, and helping real estate investors strategically align investment opportunities with their financial goals.
Outside of work, Blake enjoys spending time with his wife Valya and they are excited to announce their first child will be here at the end of August. When he can, Blake is a spontaneous/intentional traveler, having explored Europe and the Middle East, including teaching American football in Egypt, conducting financial research in Turkey and Greece, celebrating weddings in London, and biking 300 miles across Bosnia to honor genocide victims. With 500+ hours of community service, he is committed to serving in his community and constantly learning whether that be in finance, home renovation, country dancing, or AI & crypto mining.
