Dan has been in the investment industry since 1987. His career has taken him down many paths and helped him become the person he is today.
Through his varied career, Dan has helped to raise well over $3 billion dollars across the variety of investment products and methodologies that he has represented, including but not limited to mutual funds, separately managed accounts, fixed and variable annuities, life, health and disability policies and real estate trusts.
Dan has played many roles after being classically trained in the foundations and fundamentals of financial planning from the very beginning. He has literally traveled to 48 of the 50 United States coaching, training, and leading individual advisors and group practices on a multitude of advanced planning topics that includes:

Dan has held many designations and securities licenses in his career, and is a constant student of this ever-changing and fascinating industry. On a personal note, he is a long-suffering Minnesota Vikings fan, has two grown daughters that he adopted internationally, and volunteers for a number of organizations including the University of Minnesota Cancer Philanthropic Board, NMDP (the National Marrow Donor Program), Feed My Starving Children, Youth With a Mission, Homes for Hope, The Union Gospel Mission and Coated-in-Love.org.
